3 Collagen Recipes That Will Blow Your Mind (And Tastebuds)

  1. Collagen Baked Oats

Easy, trendy and healthy!


Oats are incredibly nutritious, whether you have them for breakfast or a snack throughout the day. Whole oats are rich in antioxidants and provide vital nutrients and fiber. They can also lower cholesterol levels and improve blood sugar level.


Ingredients:
- 2/3 cups of oats
- 2/3 cup oat milk (regular or oat/almond)
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 banana
- 2 scoops of Vital Collagen Powder

Garnishes of choice: chocolate chips, nuts, berries.

 

Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine ingredients into a blender and blend until you get a smooth texture.
- Pour into an ovenproof tray and bake for 20 minutes.
- Add your preferred garnish.
- Let it cool for a few minutes and tuck in!


  1. Peanut Butter Collagen Cookies

Who doesn’t love cookies? When you add peanut butter and collagen to them, we are talking about a snack that is not only scrumptious but one that offers health benefits as well. We promise that your house will smell of sweet goodness all day after making these!


Ingredients:
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 scoops of Vital Collagen Powder
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt


Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a baking sheet
- In a large bowl, combine the sugar, collagen, and sea salt, and mix
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
- Keep stirring the mixture until it smoothens and turns into a dough.
- Roll the dough into 12 balls and place them onto the baking sheet.
- Press each ball with the back of a fork, and then press again from the opposite direction.
- Bake for about 10 minutes for chewy cookies or for 15 if you prefer them crunchy.

Let them cool off and enjoy!

Need a collagen nibble on the go? Try these yummy collagen bars that need NO baking at all! Sweet, healthy, filling, perfect for a post-workout snack or a quick breakfast option when you’re in a bind.


Ingredients: 
-1/2 cup almond butter
- 2 scoops of Vital Collagen Powder
- 3/4 cup soft, pitted dates
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt


Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until a smooth dough is formed
- Shape the dough into a long rectangle.
- Place on a baking sheet. (No need for baking though!).
- Simply cut the dough into desired size and store in the fridge.
Let them sit for a few hours to solidify.

They are ready to be devoured!
